    does any body know the amperage a jp power torque II draws
    as boxy needs some cable to go from his 12v battery but needs to know so he dont melt the cable and short something

    Go for some wire about the same size (or bigger) than the one that's supplied and attached to the starter. Shouldn't be too far wrong.

        The link I sent him last night for Maplins should be ok... it was rated at 30A

        unfortunately I dont have anything in my workshop of high enough rating at the moment... I can always add some 12AWG silicon sleeved wire to my next order though

          thats ok rob im gonna pop in to maplins this week for a look at what they've got and if they got any suitable i will just get it for him along with some 30a rated croc clips looked on the site an they are cheap enough lol

            Interestingly the 2.5mm diameter conductor core should actually be good for 55A so this would be fine for the starter The starter would need to be near stalled to get up to that current draw.
