....and its getting expensive....
First bit of sunshine for what feels like weeks and I plant my 450 in the garden.
1ft off the ground and I dig the tail into the dirt. Boom, blades and main and tail shafts done...no problems, I've just been picking the bones of Real Raptors and got plenty of spares. Be back in the air in 30 minutes.
However, also done the tail gear gog and having put it all together and tried to spin it up, it seems that I've split the outter sleave of the one-way bearing.
Pants pants panty pants pants.
I stuffed it into the deck from 50ft up in flight mode 2 and done less damage.
Numpty mistake, but I blame the MSR....I can nose in hover and do what I like with that, and I think I've forgotten what its like to fly a 'proper' heli.
