  • revlock 20 set up help please

I have a revlock 20 on my Raptor 60, I have never used it but would like to set it up, so that in normal mode it does not engage, idle up 1 I would like it to have a head speed of 17500 rpm, I am using a dx7, can someone put on to some threads that covers this. Thanks.

Just reset the revlock, but only set up Aux 1 (mode a) with the headspeed. Dont think it uses normal mode anyway..

Use Mode B so the revlock isnt active, by not setting it up.

you need 2 mixes in the DX7 for it to have differing headspeeds on each flight modes and for it to be inactive on the normal channel.

John if your ok waiting till the weekend I should be up there on Sunday I can show you the setup then, either that or if you wanna pop in one evening we can set it up.

      up to you mate.
      All the best

I sure hope so, yesterday was awful, only managed one test flight of the new LE before the rain hit.

I use revlock 20 in normal mode, I can select 2 different headspeeds using the aux2 switch on my dx7.
I think you nead to set aux2 to f-mod in the dx7 to get Idle up head speeds

It can be done with one mix Tony.
              These are how mine look;

              [Prog.Mix1]
              AUX2 -AUX2
              RATE -91%
              -125%
              SW:F-S2
              OFFSET: +125

I then use AUX2 ATV to set one of the idle speeds,
And AUX2 subtrim to set the other.

The revloc remains off in normal, mode A in idle 1, mode B idle 2.

Thats interesting I'll have to take a look at that.

mine uses 2 mixes and both the idle 1 and 2 headspeed are selected by using both the ATV's on AUX2
