  • Align Super Starter Lipo

Do you leave your lipo plugged in to you align starter all the time or unplug it when you are not at the field?

Just got my new starter setup, and have unplugged it for now, but did not know if it could be left plugged in.

Always take it out of the starter at the end of the flying day, and store it with my other LiPos in the relative warmth of the house and inside a metal container - thank-you McVities!! [The shed where the field boxes and 600 live is far too cold for LiPo storage. The 450 is lucky and lives on top of the study bookcase]

The starter will live in the house, so the lipo will be left in the starter as it is warm. I think I will get into the habit of unplugging it tho

Good question -I've just been leaving mine plugged in (only had it a few weeks). Anyone reckon it's unwise?

....in the same way, the RX batt always comes off the 600 too.

The main worry i have is that it will slowly drain the lipo below 3v per cell

I guess it's possible but I can't see how it would be draining it if you weren't using it? I would have thought it would be ok as long as you weren't leaving it unused for very long periods of time.
