Had a guy ask today if the Align starter shaft obviously from the new starter can be used with other starters, i honestly dont have a clue so im asking here im sure some one does.

yes you can alex
just undo the two screws and take the shaft out
m8 and put it in another holder and nip the screews up

So do i take it your saying take the the Align shaft out of the one way and use just the shaft with a different bearing holder?
Ive never really seen a Align StarterAlex

Why do you want the Align Starter shaft for? Heard a few reports of it rounding off already.
