Gaui 200 V2 Gyro question

The last thing I needed at the moment was another heli on the fleet but I got offered a brand new Gaui 200 V2 at a price I couldnt turn down. It came with evrything except a gyro and Rx. Now I've got an Rx coming so just got to sort out a gyro.

I've got an old Futaba GY240 that I inherited with another model but have never used and wondered if this would be ok?
The main problem is that I dont think the gain can be adjusted via the Tx and wherever I put it it's going to be difficult to get to.

If the 240 isnt sufficient what other small gyro's would best suit a small model like this bearing in mind I really dont want to spend a fortune on it?

Anyone got any recomendations?

Try the GAUI gy-210 which is designed for the 200, ask T to sort you out, i'm sure he will. The Gaui Gyros are like the Gy-401 and they sell for less then £50. Plenty of Youtube Vids showing the Gyro performing hard 3D in gaui 200s.

I'm sure I've seen T with the gaui gyro in his little black gaui 200 V2 version. I do remember him having a spare one that he was gonna sell me for about £35. He may have it!

Cheers RB, just spoken to T on the phone and he's sorted my confusion out. It appears that the 240 will work if its mounted upside down on the base plate cause the clever folk at Gaui had the forthought to cut slots to do the adjustments through. I'll give it a go with my 240 and if its not up to the job he's going to sort me out the Gaui one.
