  • That was Fun

    Been out this morning.

4 tanks in the 700, was probably the most fun Ive had flying it, it hovers pretty much hands free, I am running a ridiculously low throtle curve and plenty of expo. First tank was just hovering buy the time I got the forth tank I was doing lazy 8's. My fear of going to high, seems to be back with the 'rex, but Im sure with more stick time this will fade. If I mention selling it again shoot me

Then 3 tanks in the raptor, I feel that my confidence and flying is getting better with every flight, Ive in creased my head speed, going higher than ever, I can side in hover in both directions, still cant get myself to go nose in. I did dumb thumb it a bit and had a slightly heavy landing nothing broken, just need to realign the tail.

Going to fix the carbsmart to the 'rex today, very impressed with it on the raptor.

First of all up town, cuz dont forget fellas tomorow is Valentines day. Lets keep em sweet

        'Cool!

I keep thinking about trying a carbsmart. On the one hand I like the idea of optimising the needle settings and power / fuel consumption but on the other I still remember all the problems being reported on Helifreaks with the sensors failing in the beginning.

I tend to think maybe the real solution is a more accurate way of measuring the engine temps and just getting the needle dialed in and then leave it (except for small adjustments for drastic weather changes or fuel changes etc.)

I think you have a overactive mole at your field looking at your pics.
              Cheers
