  • Raptor 50 Titalign

Should I now call my Raptor 50 Titan a Raptor 50 Titalign
I have Align main blades and Tuned muffler on it,

I installed the muffler after hearing how quiet a friends 600 was with the same engine an OS Hyper
my stock TT muffler made it sound like I didn’t have one
Haven’t had chance to try the new muff yet, hope it’s worth the 50 odd ££s

The blades, because skyline recommended them.
They do perform well for my type of flying, mainly sport and poor 3D

Anyone else have a miss mash of a heli.?

I thought the Align pipe was a bit on the loud side (The Hatori is about the same loudness). I replaced it wth a CY MP2 which is quieter and the Zimmerman on my Raptor 30 is quieter still.

    I suppose it's all relative.

But regarding swapping different parts between helis. I don't think blades count really because it's common
    to have different branded blades.

I have Raptor skids on my Ely.Q because they are stronger and an Ely.Q tail case on the Raptor 50 because the open design makes it easy to inspect.

The Align pipe is definitely the loudest pipe I have flown on a 50. Its up there on making good power though

Ive heard of people using the knight heads on Trex 600's also Im sure someone on here used a Velocity head on a 600 as well.

and how many people have been using flb mikado heads on whatever heli their using.
          All the best

One of the guys in our club has the Velocity head on his 600, it looks good and flys really well with it!

Doh!! sounds like I should have gone for an MP5 or something,,,

Still if the Align pipe works well with the OS and does up the power a bit I'll be happy

              Looks good as well
              I'll post a pic,

Yeah, I am tempted to think the Align pipe gave it a bit more power than the MP2 but I have not flown with the MP2 enough to really say. I haven't tried an MP5 on the OS Hyper yet.

I just put an Outrage on my Raptor with OS46 engine and it is quieter than the Hatori but kinda think the Hatori had a bit better power (or maybe it's all my imagination )

                  Looks good though

Before anybody says anything I know the skids are facing the wrong way

I always have them like this, looks better and more stable on the ground imo

How close is that pipe to the canopy?

The pipe is about 2mm at its closest point,, just enough for air flow.
Think you'd have to mod a standard canopy though

This close, think it will be ok?
