It's that time of year again when my companies annual weekend bash is coming up (weekend 6/7 March) and this year it's in Stratford-upon-Avon. The general format is turn up on Friday afternoon/evening, business meetings on Saturday and Sunday mornings and go home Monday after a big night out on Sunday.
My Mrs and kids won't be coming along as it's pretty dull for them as all we do is talk about work, and when we have evening time in the bar etc, I'm expected to mingle and look after people from the company, because I work for the head office and have a company credit card!
This leaves me with Saturday and Sunday afternoons with time to kill, so are there any clubs/forum users nearby where I could come for a fly as a guest? I've got plenty of room in my car for a heli or two.
Two years ago we had it in Stratford also, and it was the weekend of the Compass fly-in up at Nuneaton which was about 45 minutes drive away on the Saturday afternoon and was a decent afternoon out.
Last year, we had this bash in Harrogate and I went flying with busterboy's crew, and a great pleasure it was too.
