Has oneone had one of these where the oneway bearing seems to have reversed?

Mine has done it recently and I'm buggered if I can get it open to look at and I'm also finding it hard to part with as it was bloody expensive and has until now been very good.

Any ideas on how to get it working would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    James

Not had problems with them reversing, only slipping. If you take the two countersunk hex head screws out of the side the front black section of the wand should pull off, leaving the bearing section. At this point you are staring at a radial bearing, under a circlip. I've not stripped down beyond this point but I'd say removing the circlip should enable you to pull off the bearing assembly.

When mine was slipping I took the front part off and flooded the bearings with lighter fluid, although carb cleaner or nitro cleaner would do as well, then I lubed the bearings with a very light oil which seemed to do the trick, might be worth a try before stripping it down completely.
