Another Day at SMHC

Went up to SMHC again today with Downdraft (Sean), Jam50 (Jamie, who should now change his name to Jam700), Thomastom (Tom) and myself.

Mostly it was a good day with the exception of a mechanical on Toms 500 which saw it fall out of the sky and looking a little worse for wear, and a broken skid on my 250 when it went into a self initiated piro I hit hold and it basically went in from around 4 feet. looks as though the skids were the only thing damaged.
Did my lowest inverted hover to todate, and unfortunately that picture is out of focus still go a couple of others in.

And it was the first flight with my new canopy recently painted by ddracer.

Managed to get out myself today as well Rob after fitting new piston ring the other week ... forgot how much fun these are when they produce power lmao .... dont fly as much but enjoy it more when I do

Looking forward to catching up with soon Mike, and if you ever feel like travelling down to Suffolk, we would be happy to see you.
All in all had a good day today despite the weather being a bit grey this morning.

Yeh wont be long and it will be flyin heaven again lol.... cheers for the offer , might take you up on it one weekend .. Yeh was overcast here but not too bad and hardly n e wind as well ... least with my engine not performing its made me alot less enthusiastic on the collective tho lmao ...

Another great Sunday with good food, great friends and fabulous heli's.

I'll be ready for my B-bq test anytime now, not sure who the examiner will be as most of them are still in hospital from the last time they ate my burgersLOL.

Shame to see the 500 go in Tom but I'm sure it'll be back to it's former glory in no time.
Oh and I guess I should say thanks to our resident photographer Bob, Cheers mate.
