I know the adverts help pay the fees running this site but this morning this site is opening pages super fast for me..

before I saw there was no adverts

On that other web site the page is displayed with the text first and then the adverts are displayed. So the bit that is of interest to most of us is displayed really quickly.

This site can be frustrating in that it takes quite along time for it to switch pages.

Apologies, the server people at the hosting rebinded the DNS to a previous version of the ad software it was the verison that was infected last year when the site went down so I've dumped it off completely - awaiting the server chaps to pull there finger out...

Really pleased how fast the site runs without the ads. Stuart do you run it on a VPS ?

Ads will be back online over the next few hours, just had the dns unloaded and assigned to the correct server.....

Its not VPS but we are on a dual quad intel server 2.5ghz with more than enough pulling power. But even though we are one of a handful of clients on it - a couple run large sites and hosting lots of other sites too..
