  • Best pitch gauge and flybar lock

    Ok Want to get a pitch gauge for my Blade 400 and a flybar lock can anyone advise me on a good one to get please?

    I was told that flybar locks are generally used on larger helis can I use one on the Blade 400 ?

    I'm using the newer align pitch gauge, it can be used on small leccy heli's up to the 700's.

    I have never used a flybar lock so cant comment on that one.

      the std eflite blade caddy makes a good enough flybar lock. just stick a paddle in the top slot and clip it onto the boom

          I bought one of these a while ago and it does the job very well on anything from a 450 upwards:

            I use the Align pitch gauge and, for the flybar lock, a suitably sized allen key, as per Finless' videos.

              Where do you put the allen key to lock the flybar martin?i can use this method on my kasama head but have been using a clothes peg split in two and jammed either side of the flybar cage on the align head but the missus is moaning she cant hang the washing out,no pegs left
