  • Happy new heli day to me...

Bought myself a T600n today. It was a little earlier in the year than I had planned but I think it was an excellent purchase of a very well spec'd and maintained heli.

I drove down to Fordingbridge this afternoon to by Petes' (Trex Pedro) 600n.

I won't bore you with more pictures but the full spec and piccies can be seen in Petes' FS thread

I have a few changes I want to make which are fitting a header tank just for that extra comfort zone and I may fit some slightly less spec'd blades as the 600D's are way over what I need and expensive to replace if I prang it.

I won't be flying it straight away as I want to get compitent and more confident with the Raptor and I will need to rob the RX out of it so hopefully I'll be able to resist for a couple of months. I'm sure the pull will be strong though.

and finally thanks Pete, good to meet you and I hope there won't be to many PMs but there is one on it's way as I forgot to ask a couple of things..

roll on summer is all I can say.

    thanks for reading.

Cool! I imagine you'll have a similar experience to myself going from the 30 to a 50 and finding that when you push the left stick up it just goes, like imediately, no waiting

But ya know, I am now very anxious to fly the little Raptor again soon as I have not flown it since the summer.

600 is a great machine, and does what it is told you will love it Martyn. With some TX manipulation, can be made to be very docile, or very snappy!!!
