Occasionally I purchase from Smiths the Rotorworld magazine.

Does anyone know if it's still going/available. It's not been in Smiths all this month (January)?

An e-mail to the editor just "bounced" back.

I get mine from Fast-Lad or Midlands...

I bought one from Smiths a couple weeks ago - it may be that they stopped stocking it depending on demand for shelf space...?

It isn't so much a case of WHS choosing to stock a particular mag - it's more that the publisher has to pay a stiff fee to WHS for the privilege of having it stocked...

Retailing doesn't work quite how you think.
If you want your food line in Tescos then you pay them to take stock, then if its popular they will consider paying you for the product.
...of course if you want it eye level and in the right place or to launch it end of isle you are talking a whole hill of dosh!

Best and cheapest way is to subscribe and have it delivered. I subscribe to MHW, and occasionally pick off RotorWorld when there are articles of interest, which these days, Jamie Cole and Richard Budd tests apart, is not that often.
