This is what you want Jim, they're what camera depts use in the film industry they're called magliners and they would be brilliant as heli benches, they're sturdy, solid, go over rough ground and fold flat, but cost about £400.
I'm hoping that sooner or later I'll find a broke production company that wants to sell one off cheap!!!
Guy, that looks monstrous although it would certainly do the job but 400 quid...!! found this more in my price range tight sod I amhttp://www.argos.co.uk/ProductDisplayTRK019?partNumber=0743831 not sure about the bag though, looks as if a plastic table & heli equipment can be carried on it.
I shall carry on looking but needs to be compact & lightweight.
I use a workbench from HomeBase. It was on sale for £9.99. If I need more workspace, I use an odd piece of ply which was lying around in my garage, .
It fold nicely, sturdy and I can safely do repair work as well - a multifunctional table eh.
Great idea with the tables I`ve been using a small and a larger one for a few years now.
Bought them from Millets and Argos and they just sit in the cloth bags in behind the front seats of the car most of the time.
Great for the winter to keep those helis clean when working on them.
Sorry for all the clutter - I`m usually much tidier
Love that Wolf..
