Whate Rate do you charge your DX7

Hi Guys,

Managed to get all the setting coppied to the DX7 successfully (I Hope),

But now i need to charge it.

Got the polarity sorted out etc and it still switches on.

But at what rate do you charge the battery. 1500mah Nimh 9.6v.

The manual says the chargers you can get charge at 110mah. Im currently charging it at 200Mah. Can i go any higher???

What rate do you guys charge at?

An interesting article. Mine is a 2100 NiMh, and I charge it at between 250 and 300mA, but this really is not my field!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the 1st charge at 200mA for 16 hours. (This is a must with NiMh) I then bang 1.5A for charging. I do this with all my radios. I know the manufactures say you can put 5A in but I don't like to as they do get hot.

I read that article which I found, and it was interesting, but it still doesn't really say what is possible. I understand the "C rules" with LiPos etc, but is there a "norm" charge and a max charge "rule", based on experience for a NiMh?
