Return the broken or defective part to the retailer you purchased it from and allow them to sort it, your contract is with them

I have heard robbe uk don't like replacing things so you need to rely on the goodwill of your retailer if its over 28 days old

Problem is your issue is as Jamie states with the retailer but if they are getting no joy from a Disti they tend to get awkward and reticent to do anything until they are sure they are going to get recompense as well and so the circle starts. Also if they don't carry stock of the part in question they will not be able to replace straight away and will have to order<ask the Disti> for a replacement which will take ages because of the above

It is the nature of our hobby that when things go wrong there may be an element of doubt as to if it just failed or if we caused the problem through use, but that doesn't mean the retailers get to duck the issue when there is no sign of misuse or impact damage.

Same goes for the problems the retailers may have with the distributor, that really is their problem not ours.

The better model shops know this and will usually help out as much as they can to keep us flying when things fail for no good reason.
