  • Bullet connectors in plastic housing

I not sure what the connector is called but I want to swap it for a deans without shortening the cables, and perhaps keeping the old connector re-useable.
The connector is like 4mm bullet connectors in a double plastic moulding.

How do I get the connectors out of the moulding? is it possible without destroying it?

I think you're talking about the EC3 connector?
The bullets are a push fit and "clip" home when fully fitted. The bullets won't easily push back through as they need to stay put when connecting them to another plug - however, I would think you could get them out with a little jiggery pokery
That said - they are a low cost item, so you might be as well to just "sort it" and not worry about the blue connector

    Cheers,

Search for item RB4049 on Midland Helis site, I think these are the ones you're after. They'r similar to the EC3 plugs in that the bullets click into the outer cover, although it takes some force to get them in. Once the bullets are fitted it's near impossible to get them out without damaging either the connector, the bullets or both.
