£189 seemed like a small fortune.

On the RC front I wanted...

It was way beyond my budget even with two part time jobs, so I settled for...

Oh dear...I seem to have come over all nostalgic.
Talk about nostalgic....always wanted a hotshot..So I got one in december....only took me 25 odd years to get one and at the same time I bought the lunchbox......I am hoping Tamiya do some more re-releases as I love the classic stuff!

As a young or young adult never had to save up but every thing I wanted seemed to turn up... but the one that I remember still today was a replica Colt45 and it used to fire blanks - great fun.

As an adult, saved up ( probably for the first and last time ) to buy my first car, a red VW Beetle - great fun I had with it ....full of fond memories.

I used to work saturdays washing up in a Wimpy Bar in the local town, and gardening and some fishing when I could, all to fund and pay for my first set of wheels A Baja Brown Yamaha FSIE like this one.

                    Ooh memories

I couldn't save then and I can't save now. Thankfully now I have a job that pays a bit better!
