SMHC friendly flyin

On Sunday Sean, (Downdraft) organised a little flyin at the field and invited a good friend of ours Darren Hardy from Rapid Rotors. Pete Ayriss and Mike "Edders" Eddington were also in attendance, and we had a great day with Sean even putting on some food. (the fact I am here typing this means I did survive his cooking as well).
As many of you know, Darren is undergoing a course of treatment and this is the first time he has flown for a couple of months, it was good to see that despite a few reservations and a not 100% polished performance, he enjoyed himself as we all did.
Thanks to Dan for some nifty camera work, and congratulations to Jamie who lowered his Raptor 50 as close as you could get without hitting the deck, and Mike for allowing Jamie a chance to thrash his 700 around at the end of the day. great flight to watch.

Glad every body had a good time, woke up this morning and did'nt even have deli belly. Seems the burgers were cooked after all.

On a serious note we all had a great day and I'd like to thank Rob for all his help and a special thanks to Edder's for pushing me a little further than I would normally fly, cheers dude, still grinning from that first roll.

It was really nice to see Darren with a tranny in his hand and a smile on his face, hope we can do this more often.

Jamie, your flying just get's better and better, the way things are looking mate the next step will be the 3d champs. Over to you Edder's.

Nice to see Dan pushing himself a little harder as well and by the way cheer's for the grips mate.

Lets do it again soon lad's, days like Sunday are what a good days flying is all about,.

Yesterday was brill! I had great time everyone flew great. And its even better cause you cant see the bits of string in my inverted pics .
BUT... thanks to edders my debit card may take a bit of a pounding soon lol Cheers again mate for letting me have that flight .

Awsome, Shame Dan did'nt show that the real pilot was of course me, NOT. Real good flying Pete, most impressed.

I think Jamie has been a little quiet since the event, guess he's been busy preparing a shopping list for that new 700.

To answer the question of when do we fly, Most Sundays and some Saturdays, Infact when ever we get the chance. If your ever down this way drop me a PM your welcome to come and have a hover.

Not started that just yet sean lol.
Shall sort out 50 first but i cant find out whats wrong with it. Ive checked it all over and tried to get it to fail again but it wont so ive just re-bound it to tranny il give that a go and pray it dont happen again i spose.
