  • Royal Mail - 1.02mph

Having won a vintage toy crane on eBay over the Christmas break it was posted on New Years eve. Thankfully, the seller kept the reciept and certificate of posting, as after well over a week of waiting for it to arrive in the first class mail there was no sign and so the seller and I agreed to wait until this coming Friday before starting our respective claims.

It finally arrived today, 19 days after being posted and travelling at an average of just 1.02mph for it's entire journey from the Isle of Wight to the west coast of Scotland. Unreal...

You can't push these vintage toy cranes, they are very delicate!

I am waiting now almost a week for a set of skids from Motors and Rotors. They can't be much over 30 miles from me (just a guess).

So removing the weekend and using a figure of 5 days that's 120 hours.

Which means at the moment they are running about 0.25 miles per hour on this one.
