  • 325mm carbon blades

Got these to try from concept copters
    3dblades.jpg
They are wicked, alot cheeper than the align or radix but just as good, flew them today on my 450 pro and they are superb.
In fact i would say very similar to the standard align D's, shame i didn't get a video but will try next weekend
If you want some cheeper blades but love the align blades, give these ago.
Just an aditional note, they needed no tracking adjustment from my align blades, were spot on

I personally thought they are ok at best, for sports flying or light 3d, ok, but for the sort of flying you are doing James, they will flex and bog like a bitch. They are a very noisy blade, i wouldnt want to push them the way i do Radix.

Incidentally, I've just changed back to Radix after using Align D's since getting my Pro. The Align's fly very well, but they are crap in even a slight knock. When I was using Radix previously, they used to survive 3 or 4 crashes before breaking, so I've gone back to them. Retail is £8 difference, but one crash and your in credit As proven today when i auto'd my 450 pro, only for it to balloon at the last moment killing all headspeed, piling it in at quite a speed. Blades dirty but perfectly in tact

I gave them a thrashing Jamie, really pushed them and i thought they were as good as the align D's easy, in fact i would say scary similar

Didn't someone on here have a pair of these fail in flight a coupla months back?
I looked at getting some at the time but that particular thread put me off somewhat.
            Cheers,

They are fine, that thread came to the conclusion that they were damaged in flight.

I use them all the time for the Pro and they suite my needs, they are very noisey blades though.

Yes Gaz they did. I tried to break some in flight (on Sacko's model ) and they survived just fine, but in crashes, they almost always snap clean in half, sometimes right through the bolt hole, as demonstrated by Sacko at PMHC today so they def arent the same as Align's, as the aligns at least dont totally dicintegrate in a crash.

As in a previous post I've been using these on my 500 if anything I would say they are as good as the Align so in time I will kit my fleet out with them.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

When i was restricted budget wise i used them on my 450 and my 500, they are not the same at all, in fact quite a noticeable difference from the Align blades, they are noisy they are heavy and they arn't as stiff.
I was flying them for at least 3 months solid so i think the conclusion are fair. On the 450 in particular i also lost about 30-40 seconds of flight time.

So thats the negative, the only positives as i see it is the cost!, if your a beginner looking for the first set of carbon blades, or a sports flyer then they would probably work ok for you, but for 3D id get something better.

For my level of flying, circuits, stall turns etc they are great IMO. I have a set of carbons on my 500 and my Raptor 30 and have had no problems at all.

If I crash I would happily replace them with another set.
