What tx?

Im looking for a cheap transmitter that i can use on phoenix because the one i got with the 3d storm doesnt work with it what features does it need to have?

if you want cheap and useable try and get hold of an original cx2 tx they are ideal for phoenix an LP5DSM

I also have one of these, although its not mine, its a good TX and will work with Phoenix although its only a 5channel.

I used to have a LP5DSM and it worked very well
Although if you think your likely to stick with the hobby a DX6i would be better in the long run.

cheers guys ive been looking at dx6i but if i was buying one of those i might aswell change my setup in the heli and use the dx6?

And now i have brought a futaba t7cp with receiver so i can change the radio gear in my heli maybe?

Are these transmitters ok they seem quite good

You should have got the 9C. get futaba radio gear.

still starting out so dont wanna spent too much straight away, ive got a receiver with the t7cp so that should be ok i guess my servo's on the storm should work ok on that i hope.
