How do I mount the middle servo on my copterx 450?

How do I mount the servo which is under the swash guide? I'm stuck

What's a swash guide? Do you mean anti-rotation bracket?

If so, and it's in the way, remove the bracket, fit the servo and put the bracket back.

mount with the servo tabs either on the outside or inside of the frame - just want the servo horn as central as possible within the frame, so it depends on the servo height really.

Inside mount can be a pain with having to split open the frame - go for outside mounting if ya can - i think this is the kind of reply you are after - not sure?

i managed to fit mine using a ballend driver with the new style servo screws that are hex drive.also you mount it from the outside with the shortend facing the swash.

beat me to it gav. it fits fine from the outside

I guess you're right Gav - I didn't understand the question.

FYI I mounted the one on my 450SEv2 on the inside and it still needed a spacer between the servo and the frame to get the centre of the balllink on the servo arm in line with the centre of the elevator swash link.

And, on the 450SEv2 I got it in without splitting the frames.

yeah - 'ball link on the servo arm' to be central and in line with the elavator link rather than servo horn itself. All good fun eh?!

Don't spin it up until you're certain, and I mean certain, everything is OK. Do the set-up with a 4.8v Rx battery, or disconnect the cables that run between the ESC and the motor.
