fair play mike
it was that its an excepted format and it makes life easier for me
thats it
regards craig
1) all the current UK events (and theres a few
) are all running by the 3D format.
2) 3DX format appears to be putting off alot of piots from entering your event
3) theres no tip-toe'ing through all the legal bullsh*t you need to watch out for with 3DX
4) the manouvers are much better rated for their K factor anyway. in 3DX, the knife edge piro is in the same class as the sustained chaos WTF?
I certainly would be much much happier flying to the 3Dformat ways...

Won't be too long Jamie - we want to be as fair to everyone as possible, so there will be announcements made of a date in the future when entries will be open.Any idea when the champs entry will be opened?
This will allow the word to spread so it's fair on everyone who wants to compete (hopefully) that they all know when entry opens, so they can enter if they wish without missing out.
As you know, we run a first come, first served operation, and we filled right up inside 3 days of launch in 2009 - so people that might not see a post on this forum might have a better chance to enter
We're also looking at ways of trying to avoid a high attrition rate this year - too many signed up and then dropped out last year (for whatever reason) so we're hoping to reduce that number this year.
We don't take reserves as it can cause all sorts of issues, so the attrition rate needs addressing
We will, of course, keep everyone posted!

This is a difficult question,Originally posted by waveydavey View PostWill the grass roots pilots require a B cert? If so I think some of the manoeuvres are a bit and I might eat my words 'simple' for someone capable of flying to the B level.
mainly due to insurance for us and the club that hosts the event.
Im very positive that anyone will be able to fly. but we may have to insist on the caller or Aanouther holds a B cert and stands out with the pilot.
as its not going to be a large "Public Event" alot of these may not be issues but we need to make sure that no one is left open for sue'ing ect....(its the world we live in)
EddersDon't argue with idiot's on forums; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
