My 450, which is basically align 450v2 mechanics but with a HDX superframe idn't used to have such good tail hold - it was easy to make it let go going too fast backwards or sideways.
now with the 9650/9257gears, chinese weights on the grips, and K&DD tails it is pretty good. today was the first time I managed to get it to let go with the K&B tail blades.
I'm intregued as to why it lets go in this scenario
Tail slide (maybe with a roll) from quite high, it will take a sharp pull out into backwards flight no problem, but if I push into a tight backwards loop it lets go at the top of the loop.
Thats the strange thing, it lets go not at the max G and max speed, it lets go when it is backwards inverted pulling hardly any G and the blades are speeding up.
This manoevre is always the one I've found it to struggle with tail hold, but now it has to be done quite brutally to have a poblem.
Why does it let go after it got past the worst position for load?
