5% Coolpower any good for helies

Hi all, I curantly run my raptors on 12% southern Models fuel doing mild figure 8ts. I have been given 2 gals of 5% Coolpower and would like to know.


1. Is this safe to use with my type of flying, engine not being worked very hard at all.

2. Would it be wise to mix 1 gal 20% with 1 gal 5%, if so would this be the better option.

Personally I'd go with your latter idea of mixing it in equal proportions with 20% to get 12.5%. The engine will continue to run fine then without any adjustment.

Just use the 5% as is you may need to lean the engine a bit as its lower in nitro. If the 2 fuels are,nt compaterball and you mix them you may end up with 2 cans of fuel that are no good! Just my opinion
