As the title severe weather warning here in the peak district, the snow is hammering it down at the moment, no flying yet again!

We had about an inch first thing yesterday morning down here, but its already starting to melt away a bit. Forecast is showing more for Tuesday though. Had a good day flying in it yesterday though

Very cold in surrey this morning but the sun is now out and there is all but no wind so I hope to make it up to the field this afternoon (restricted flying times ) hopefully it holds like this for tomorrow as well

10-11" of snow here and looks like mores on the way... looks like ill be flying with the kids down a hill on a sledge and not the helis lol

Cold here in sunny somerset, hard frost but clear blue skies, sunny and no wind, off flying in about an hour

Actually dont look to bad in this picture i just took but what a mission it was to get to the pub yesterday. It was like doing a BFT (Basic Fitness Training - armed forces term).
At least half way past your shin when you walk across a field. By the time i got to the bar i was sitting with a sweat on lol

Had only a light snowfall last night but I see its snowing in Burnley thanks TrexMADuk.

There are ups and downs in everyone's lives Tim. I spend a lot of time away from wife and kids and friends. I miss an awful lot of stuff. The times I am at home I am usually tired and knackered or stuffed with time zone changes. Not enough hours in the day etc. But I guess I would not do anything else, having been flying longhaul jets for close to 30 years!!!

Roll on retirement!!!!!!!!!
