Its Done! Hallelujah

Well after 3 Evening the Velocitys done wohoo, all looks good ready for its first flight.
Had to take the engine out twice this evening, bloody clutch one ways buggered managed to clean it out with brake cleaner seems to have done the trick .
I tried using the Throttle and pitch curves from the Velocity manule all seem a bit crap, when you switch from norn/Idle/Idle 2 theres going to be a large jump in throttle and pitch not good, think I've come up with some resonable curves have to have a bit of a play.

On Monday I put 3 orders through to Fast Lads, Evo RC and Aurorra and guess who won yep Fast Lads turned up 11:30 on Tuesday Superb thanks Fast Lads.
Second was Evo RC at 12:00 Tuesday Not quite as good order was missing a bit.
And Third was Aurorra on the Wednesday.

The intermediate setting at the mo, i dont want it to slow lol. Slightly nervous about flying it my first nitro, might try it tomorrow on me own.

Well after an event full morning the velocity FLYS Wohoo.

Had a few issues the Brand new Align 2 in 1 playing up, the starter side not working after striping out all my lovely wiring to make sure it wasn't a traped wire found that if you press the end of the main unit it works so that will be going back monday.

So got it started, sounds lovely really smooth, worked the throttle to get it going(running rich) and spooled it up and she gracefully took to the air, I've never been so nervous lol.
any way got onto the end of the second tank landed and the tail blades hit some stones(type 1 car park) and knackerd me tail blades, never mind.
Sooooo pleased with it, its really stable in the air nothing like the Beam, looking forward to the morning now, get up the field and fly it properly

Mark maidend his Pro today, looked wicked well done dude
