Anybody got any rough guild lines for throttle curves on idle 1 for redline 53
It really depends on your pitch curve and the mechanical setup of your throttle. Although this is for a Raptor it applies to all models Throttle setup
You will need the use of a tacho.
To start with try setting the point on the throttle curve that matches the hover pitch point to 50 and create a smooth curve around that. Now check and adjust the headspeed to what you want with the model hovering. From this you can set the inverted hover point. Set the full pitch points on the throttle curve to 100 and try a full power climb out. If the engine sounds like it is overspeeding or pulling without any load then you can either reduce the value or increase the amount of pitch. Now you need to play with the 0 degree point to reduce engine overspeed.
for my 600 on a dx6i no governor, it is 100 63 40 63 100 with linear pitch.
i had 100 92 85 92 100 before, burnt out my engine with that a lesson learn the hard way
Similarly, mine were 90/75/60/75/90 on ST1, but then I ran a governor, which requires 100/I/80/I/100, and as I originally had a DX6i, I took a mid-range rpm of 1900 [ I am no 3D master ]. Now I am running the MultiGov off a DX7.
