I am the guy that likes to crash

Yup.. Second flight of my copterx and i need spares already! hehe

Nah.. i only landed it a tad hard and broke the skids!

But Cor! it was fast for 11T Pinion The gyro is crap and cannot get it to hold well, but i thinks that due to the headspeed! took off into another solid hover! did a few flips but were **** poor slow for my liking landed upped the swashmix to 60.. too slow.. then 70 too slow.. then 80 seems good! but shall try 90 on next flight!, so went straight for it with flips.. piro inversions etc! wow! its nice.. i come out of a flip with nose down let it down for too long and had to yank the stick back and to the right and at the same the sound of the blade clipping the grass! did some low inverted hovering etc!

Then went to land and forgot how pitch a 450 can be and pitch jumped on the collective as i hesitated.. busted skids and possible new radio tray needed!

I think my Belt Cp skids will fit just fine

Okay tried to fit the belt Cp skids.. but the screws dont align.. so managed to get one screw in.. and fit the skids.. seems sturdy enough for a flight later on and ile order some new ones later aswell!

You need to update your sig Callum, "CopterX450-- On the way!".

            Perhaps "CopterX450-- Very fast"

Remember callum, same as i said to you about your 600, watch for binding on the swash, expecially with those swash mixes so high, check it in throttle hold at min and max stick for full cyclic travel otherwise you will pop a link and alot more spares will be required

Yeah.. True! but teh cyclics are so darn slow! feels like theres around 50% Expo! shall knock it down to 70%

Callum you really really need to step down and take it easy!
I left the hobby 3 years ago and discovered Women.

                    I wish I never left.

Its not just all about the cyclic mixes, what paddles are you running? carbon light ones will make them faster without changing the mixes.
What blades are you running, some nice align carbons will speed them up also.
And what about your servos, if they are the cheep ones that come with the combo, think about investing in some Hitec HS65's the karbonite ones will be fine and make hell of a difference

If you want it crazy-fast stick some lighter paddles on that thing Callum. The Align carbons will liven it up. Machasm had CY Stubbs on his Beam. It rolled and flipped so fast it was a blur.

Edit - do what James just said!

Shall see about some align carbons for it

Running the stock plastic paddles without the waights, but didnt think it would be so drastic on the speed.. also running the Align DS410s on teh cylics

The servos are nice and fast but the paddles, change them out.
The older v1/v2 450's were slow on plastics, they are quite heavy, yet the pro loves them

the fact that you are running an 11 tooth pinion won't help - stick a 13T in there and your cyclic will be much quicker. Which gyro ?
