AR6200 and the remote DuaLink Module

Is it possible to run the AR6200 without the remote DuaLink Module so that it is has the same range as the AR6100?

If you mean the little remote Satellite then yes it will work without it

I run a AR6200 without the Mini Satellite with a 450 just fine.

Callum, yeah the mini satellite that is connected via a cable and plugs into the main reciever. At the moment I have it disconnected while I'm setting the heli as it was getting in my way as I haven't fixed the RX yet. It seems to be working fine but wondered if it was unreliable like this.

I have heard both yes and no and i think it depends on the firmware revision on the receiver :- but why take it off when it gives you some additional insurance :- it will fit on your 450 - mine does.

Wil, k will give it a go and most likely mount it on the right hand side to counter the ESC that I think as per manual pos1 which is on the left hand side. I was thinking about pos2 on the underside and I wondered about wet grass contacting it.

I though if you re binded the Rx w/o the Satellite then it would work, If you have it plugged in and then binded it , then take it out it wont work?

That's the way I understand it Dannyy. But why NOT use it? It gives added insurance of a signal. Just make sure it is 90degrees orientation to the master.
