Where did the SJM guy go - Heli or ornament?

Hi all- just picked up a Blade mSR and Trex500 Esp in purchases for my return to heli rc (well, to my returning to learning how to fly heli rc). This time round I'm going to try to be Phoenix meastro before even starting the build of the Esp - which may take a damn ling time!

One addition to the above was a SJM360 - I just loved the design and couldn't resist at the price even though I know its not supported in the UK and that the company has problems. I searched and found a thread on here by Chris and it looks like it was all go in Sept but nothing since. Did SJM ever happen in the UK?

Ordering what spare parts I can now from skyhobbies.sg but to me, it looks that good that I'll only be half-gutted if it ends up being a shelf queen.

Adie just sent me a pm re the 360.
i am still doing the sjs, not sure bout the company having problems tho, i presume you mean RC Tec?
They are relocating in china from one site to another but as far as i am aware it's for a good reason.

i have plenty of 360 t1s here and spares.
I am launching SJM again in march, as i was let down by my web designer and the E3 is now ready for sale, with the 600 on the cards for this time next year.

Have you flown the 360. I am flying one at the mo, its power to wieght is crazy i love it! you make it dance like a feather, and thats with the rates so far down, it's mad.

GREAT NEWS about launching (so glad I won't have to wait for importing parts (have you got a spares price list you can email to me?). I think SJM totally deserves a spot here in the UK, the designs look brilliant. I've checked out the V3 of the 500 Pro - blinding - it's a definite next purchase once I have some decent experience. The agility of the 360 sounds great but I don't think I'll be flying it for a fair while unless I can really tame it down to docile. I'll post up once I start the build - I can see how it goes compared to my G5 and E4 build experiences. Not sure if I have a T1 version though?

Thanks again all - a truckload more excited about my 360 now! (just hope its a current version)

Edit: Damn, think I've got the 2008 360 model and not t1 - will t1 parts fit? Can you let me know how much your selling the t1's for?

from the look of the skids, it doesn't look like most of the t1 pics I've seen but does look like the one skyhobbies.sg are selling which is current.

If your spares fit I'm still laughing. If not, I'll be looking at getting a t1 from you or wait and pick up a V3 in a few months.
