Puffed lipos

I have a pair of lipos that have puffed up (lack of use is what I am blaiming). What is the best way to make them safe for disposal?

small bucket of water with salt in and put them in there for about a week to deactivate them, then down the tip the blokes will know what to do with them

I just get my air rifle out then run them down the tip

If they're 3 cell ones then give them to people with Align starters, the one I've got in mine looks like Puff Daddy bitten by a puff adder but it still starts my nitro great!
