Were a small gathering of heli nutters who fly on the outskirts of Bristol.
There are normaly 4 or 5 at the site on a Sunday.
xygax, myself, raptorite & Mark whos not an active member here.
Raptorite rents the site from the local farmer for his heli training & building business.
The rest of us are just a handful of the people (hangers on) he has taught to fly helicopters.
It's very relaxed & not at all regimental & were not affiliated to any governing body,
just a few local people out to have some fun.
We are down to one field at the moment due to one of the fields
being ploughed in october & needing a patch being rolled & planted.
The back field however is more than adequate for our needs at this time of year.
Anyone who fancies popping over for a look is more than welcome.
The only thing Rapotorite asks is that whilst someone is paying for a heli lesson
that they get the use of the patch. So if the training heli is brought out we land & let the lesson take place.
It does work realy well & we try to help raptorite out by purchasing
the odd box of fuel or kit from him here & there, he sells Model technics
& can get whatever you require in their range he can also get align spares & kits
or anything distributed by climbout or amerang.
If anyone wishes further details or would like an invitation
to come & show us how it's done please do so by PM
If your after some one to one heli training on a buddy box then visit
            Phoenix Model Aviation.

                  I'd second Martin (rcslopesoarer's) post.
I was a regular at the field until stuff temporarily meant helis took a back seat earlier this year - haven't been for a while but hoping to get back into it next year.
If you're looking for lessons, Pete (raptorite) is a great teacher and with the buddy box means you can try new things without worrying about trashing a heli!!!
                  All the best

Keep me updated if you do fancy popping up mate.
Was going to go today but a severe hangover curtailed that.
Am keen to go up this week at some point tho.

Be pleased to see you & your boys there mark for sure.
I to found I lost my confidence at one point.
It will come back you just have to coax it out by flying regularly.
To do that you need to be amongst people who also want to fly.
People with the same comittment, as yours.

yep getting out and flying with others is a great thing to do as Martin says, makes you want to push yourself more.
You are welcome some time mark to come down to us also one time and have a fly, Martin knows where we are
