Hello people!!! Just trying to put the switch glo on my 700, got the lil push button for it, so i just need power it, so i plugged in the avalible channel, happened to be the gear, plugs the button in, gnd it to the back plate, clip on the plug, flick the switch on the switch glo so it doesnt use tx signal to operate, press my button and it just does a single beep, not the long tone, wiggled the clip, still little beep, took the clip off, still a little beep, any ideas????

    Hi Squeaky
The new switch glo pro has a switch to make it silent in operation. its possible that this is on, or the plug has blown, or the earth lead is not attached properly. If it works without the push button and makes the long tone perhaps the button is faulty.

Maybe the new plug is faulty? Try the old plug out of the heli by just holding outer part of the plug on the engine and connecting centre as normal. My guess is going to be a bad earth, If you have a meter just double check that all wires are making good connection.

Hi, mine has a little light next to the button which glows (dimly) when the glow is in use and goes off after about 20 seconds.

I have one switchglo installed in a heli, it's not the pro just the original version and if it was not connected to the glo plug it would even beep at all.

But I'm not using the switch I have it on an aux channel.

Check your travel adjust / end point are as far apart from each other, ie +140 to -140 this may solve the problem. Switchglo will give u a single beep if the clip is not conected or the earth is bad... ! Might be worth checking this out as well, and also change the dip switch to button not Rx mode ... Any problems drop me a email

Why not take the plug out and ground it against the engine case? That way you will see if it's glowing when pressing the button.

                      What channel is it on?

Make sure the endpoints are at least 100%

What happens if you just connect a plug to the connector and ground lead. If it doesn't work then then the unit is bad.
