  • phoenix & LP5DSM TX

    hi guys
    Need your help
    Got this TX LP5DSM from my old heli I had Just tryed this on Phoenix & nothing happens !
    Should it turn on when I plug the lead in the back (like it does on my DX6i).
    No life does the same when turn it on first aswell !
    Any ideas ??

    Hi Buddy. This tx does not turn on like the DX6i when you plug the lead in the back. You need to switch it on to use it with pheonix. You need to plug the module lead in to the tx and in to the pc then turn on the tx.

        Yes.
        This may seem like a stupid question, but you do have batteries in the tx don't you?
        And have you gone into Phoenix and set up a new transmitter?

          new batterys
          When first power on power is displayed when plug in lead into back goes off !
          No control on phoenix not seen

              Ok Just tried mine power switch on then I plugged in the module and power stays on. Agree with above sounds like a problem with the trainer socket or the module lead. Do you have any other tx to try to rule out the the lead?

                  Well if you have ruled out the module lead then it must be a fault with the socket on the TX. Could be a short of some sort with the socket.
