Just wanted to right this post as i am concerned that some people might be reading something into me selling my second Aurora.
I did as many are aware by this second hand off Richie and was/is very happy.
I have on an odd post here and there saying how i wasn't getting it to be able to fly the same as my first, this is mostly because i felt that i hadn't built it myself and a few tweekes in the build process that RobGT had helped me with when i bought mine to assist.
I did a week before i sold it went right through it and found a couple things i needed to do to it that i really should of checked (i.e. greased bearings) and the head dampers were as per manual, but a common mod is to change them round.
This made a big diff in how it felt and was alot better, but by then i had already ordered the TZ frenzy and so commited myself and someone had already showed a big interest in the Aurora if i sold (i was going to keep it for summer but decided due to time of the year to let it go, and the wifes demands).
Also i have found out since that the gyro was also misbehaving for some reason, and making the tail feel awful, now in the bin.

    SO
    Just to clarify:
The Aurora was very greatfully recieved to myself and the comment i made about building it myself (last night) was more directed at myself as i did not check these things before i flew it, general maintenace and Tweeks to the build process that the previous owner would not of know about, and setting it to the settings i like things that i did through the build process of my new aurora and hence why i said about building new, doing things the way you want, something you are not going to get on a second hand heli as that person has built it to there specs not mine, and Richie was not the builder anyway.
Also i am not slagging off Auroras, i love mine and it is a keeper and would again buy another one if i had the choice in the future, say about 19 days.....lol

The only reason i sold it back on is when the TZ turned up the Wife said i had to sell one (general rule in my house, buy one , sell one) as i was going to store the airframe up in the bedroom (she wasn't impressed with that idea either) and i had the heli working back to where i liked it.
Please people do not read into posts that i am having a go at someone when clearly i am not, Richie is a friend that i have come to respect in the heli world and has never been anything but extremmely helpfull to me with advise over the last couple of years and i hope will in the near future take me for my B cert.
I blame myself fully for not going back through the heli and doing these tweeks that due to the fact the previous owner to richie did not know of the forum and so did not have access to the huge ammount of help certain people offered in the build process, and since i sorted myself and made the aurora great once again, something i was determined to do, and i just wish the wife would of let me keep it also, but that wasn't going to happen.
I hope this clears things up, and everyone can get back to peace and love once again
    Thanks for reading

Anyone thinking James had a problem With Richie, or the Aurora he bouht from him are are seriously mistaken!

The heli was/is spot on and was in almost as new condition when handed over. A really well looked after machine. I know James was keen to have two matching helis as he loved his Aurora.

I did say to James though that i felt it unlikely that he would get both flying the same and completely to his liking especially running some different components. James agreed this could be the case and what with the gyro issues etc he got frustrated and decided to rethink. Nothing to do with the superb machine Richie sold him.

The Aurora is a very technical machine to build and set up to your liking. James had his original machine set up perfectly which took some time to achieve. I think with all the time spent tracing the problem back to his GP750 on the secind machine the appeal of two helis the same had gone for the time being.

James loves his build projects and why not... The heli was sold in favour of the new Frenzy build.

As said nothing to do with the really good heli Richie sold and never referred to as such by james.

I bought one of James's helicopters off him and it was very well built and flies well. After watching some Finless bob video's I did slightly change some of the adjustments slightly to allow (almost) hands off hovering and to suit my personal style and skill level.

Some of the other helicopters I have bought from other sellers have needed major rebuilds and set ups before even attempting to fly them.

              Have fun

                  Thanks James.

When you have two helis the same it's almost impossible to get them feeling identical.

Also a dodgy gyro wont have helped
