  • Centre of Gravity

Before out flying today I went to Tims house and we were discussing centre of gravity on our helis. I was shocked how badly mine is out!! Probably becasue I have a big 5000mah outrage battery on my 600.

What differences have you noticed when getting your CoG spot on?

which way did you test the C.G? Mine is pretty much spot on when hung by the flybar but no where near when held horizontal by a blade grip
It's all about the size of your chopper...

Tim told me to grab it by the main blade holders and pull the heli on its side. It just tilted nose down.

I thought you balanced CG by the flybar? Don't get what you mean about the main blade holders?

I grabbed my heli by the main blade grips. The blades are running straight down the heli and then pulling it up on its side. The nose of the heli then tilted downwards showing it was nose heavy.
