  • Another reminder!!!!

Don't catch planks by the propellor!!! This is what wrecked any chances of flying over Christmas. 20 odd years of flying on and off and not one serious accident. One slip of concentration on Christmas eve testing my new epp wing and it all went wrong.
big thanks to members of my family who patched it all up, but a real bu**er. The knight and two planks in thegarage ready to fly and a thumb that most definetly wasn't.

Always be ready for the worst!!!

Looks painfull -- Early days of 4 Strokes they had a habit of throwing props off while running .
Got hit in the hand by a flying prop - it was a 15 ins wooden prop on a 90 4 stroke and it opened my thumb nearly to the bone and I was standing about 3 metres away.

Always got behind the props in the pits after that.

          Heli are much safer!!

was a zaggi clone, shouldn't be checking power on full throttle in the garage!!!!

lesson learnt. Go to field do it properly, at the very least have a phone with you cos once the shock sets in you aren't driving any where. Good thing I had family around to sort it out. Makes me think of all the times I've been flying on my lonesome

Not a yacht, tornado catamaran, see the signature.

Though I am doing a corporate hospitality charity thing on 8 metre yachts on Friday, in St Catherine's dock, just outside the boat show.
If it ever stops raining it might be fun
