Just had a thought, are you routing your wires away from each other. Especially the tail servo lead and the two gyro leads. Try to keep them as separate as possible.

In the pics I sent you when I had a tail gyro try copying the wiring off that.

On my stock Logo 500 I done no anti static mods at all, it has had around 156 flights without a issue (not one sign of problems, bullet proof). And I flew it throughout winter and today .

I think my mate Dan is also running no static mods on his Logo 400 V-Bar flies fine .

The servo & gyro wires have always been on opposite sides of the frame. I had a flight today & it got worse kicking out with both a left & right yaw but harder this time. I tried it in normal mode & idle up all modes flew in both HH & rate & no change. The big kick was in normal & rate mode together. I also had a flashing satelite RX at one point which i thought means a brown out??? although i didn't hear or feel any loss of power/control??? just the kicks. That's the 1st time that flash has happened.

I had a very similar issue with my 720 a few months ago, tail would kick out violently then return to its position.sent it to csm who sent it back with a clean bill of health and couldnt find anything wrong with it.
Someone suggested changing the mounting positiion from where it was(over cyclic servos)to the rear of the heli and its been fine scince.

I was about to ask where the Gyro is mounted.

I had a Raptor that suffered from static issues, and it gave exactly the same symptoms. My gyro was mounted on the back.

When I move the gyro to the front (under the canopy) the issue when away and never returned, that was the only modification I did.

Static is the most likely cause, therefore move the gyro itself to a new position.

Oh, CSM gyro's do seem particularly sensitive to static, so if that doesn't work, try a different gyro. The gyro in this case was a CSM.

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

could it be a voltage problem for the servo, maybe the bec has gone bad in some way or what voltage is the bec putting out

Well the Logo has a special place for the tail gyro which is very ideal I feel, I reckon it's in the wires, whether it's a loose connection or routing. They can be very fussy...

I should have hoped they checked the gyro and tail servo properly when you got it sent back.

?? I have no way of checking??

I've tried mounting the Gyro in the only other place it can go but that made no difference. I've just put the GP750 back in to see what happens & put the 720 into my Gaui 200 (massive gyro teeny heli lol)

You can also get that from a static hit.

I got that after the big twitch so yea could be it. But if so why is my logo being such a static bitch??? It's like rubbing 1000 ballons on your head & putting all that static in one heli MINE!!!!

I've taken all the precautions (exept earthing the tail case)

Some helis seem massively more prone than others. My GAUI 100s (esp SE Pro) had terrible static problems.

I think it's down to plastic tail belt belt idler pulleys running against insulators.

Earthing straps were no help. Graphite paste spread on both sides of the tail belt was a miracle cure. Unflyable -> to no problem.

Graphit 33 dont do jack on mine. I tested it with the GP750 & it got worse. It was going nuts straight after take off. I landed after 1 min & the satalite rx was flashing again. This is getting ridiculus. Is there ANY other ways to stop this static??? A different boom??? I've got some wire to add the grounding mod to the tail case but not sure how to do it??. Once that's done i've run out of cures. There is another option..............Sell the Logo & buy a swift or Outrage 550 or a Logo 400.

Which tail setup are you using, the standard or carbon.

Jesus mate, one problem and you think about selling it! Even though there are many, many people running Logos (1000's for both the 500 and 600 with the same design as you know) without problems. I know you keep saying you're unlucky etc but come on, the helis are the same.

                                Check my post on RR.

RX lights only flash with power input issues, not with static.

Paddy's using the standard plastic tail case.
