    Hi All

    Santa delivered a sport kit on christmas day (brilliant), but no canopy ??

    Spoke to Skyline this morning, and am not the one the complain, but of the half dozen times I've used them in the past, they've scored less than average on the customer service front.

    They have said to return the kit to them for exchange, so no complaints.

    Could somebody describe the kit as it should be. Mine is in an unmarked white box, without enough space to hold the canopy. Am I missing another box.

    My box was a brown coloured box with the canopy inside it. It was one of the first though.

                  It is typical of modern businesses....if they have had complaints before of canopy or other bits missing then a process needs to be put in place to check they are present in the box and the problem needs to be investigated with the manufacturer...I would also not accept "send it back we will send another".....NO...I want to start building now so get me a canopy in the post.

                  No business can claim that too many models are posted to check them all...if you have issues then you tell the customer that there will be a dyas delay in posting to ensure its all there - Manage the expectation!

                  I have just spent 2 days tracking my projector that was swapped under warranty only to be told that my old one had gone missing in transit so could I Pay up nearly £2000...after all my calls we found it!
                  The older I get, the faster I was!

                    Im still waiting for 1 way bearings from climb out sent Tues before X Mas

                    My business is courier and logistics so dont blame the carriers or post

                      Actually this was not the case at all, Compass repackaged the models on the latest production run so the box is smaller.
                      Our stock of these kits were dropped off by the distributors and they also delivered a number of spares at the same time including canopies.
                      What no one told us was that the canopies were in fact for the kits and that the canopies were not in the kit box's.
                      We are not in the habit of opening every kit to check the contents, especaily if it is a known product so we had no idea the canopies were not in the kits and had no reason to think they wouldn't be.

                      As soon as we found out about the problem we acted on it, I don't know in this case how we could have done any differently.

                          I ordered some 4mm heat shrink from a ebay company on the 24th and i got it on the 27th so i dont see where there is a problem with the post

                            Thats right,the post and courier companies are working as normal,parts supposedly sent out for me on 19th should be here by now


                            Unless of course,they were not sent?

                              Who are your distributors are`nt they guilty of very poor communication,
                              Did you not check your order from them and wonder why totals did`nt tally up
                              Also if the box had changed size so much, Im sure most people would think how the heck are they getting it all in there, And have a look i know i would

                              Sorry if it seems im having a go but, I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of this type of thing, To receive a package and it to be diffrent to all the others ive seen or heard of,
                              This makes you think maybe you havent got the proper package but some thing the dealer has knocked together to get rid of it,
                              And how gutted you can feel when it happens to you
                              Im not saying you have done this just trying to explain how it feels to the purchaser
