HeliSim id freeware and not bad. It is better dynamically than FMS, which IMHO is too easy.

Can we stop mentioning FMS, please? It has zero redeeming features compared to HeliSimRC, which really isn't that bad (especially given it's free).

I have just mastered inverted flying in FMS!!!!!! still cannot hover though.

Sorry, I didn't really mean it like that, honest!

It's just every time "free sim" is mentioned, the nasty "FMS" word comes back, even though we all know it's pants. HeliSimRc is no Phoenix, but it's really not bad.

get phoenix and be done with it
not worth messing around with free stuff
just my two pennys worth if it helps

I still cant get the hang of hovering but somehow i can hover slightly so i can land i just cant hold the hover, im doing circuits atm.

Shrug, in phoenix I can (sort) of do elevator and aileron tic-tocs, loops, piros, inverted flight, rolls, barrel rolls, inverted flight, nose-in, tail-in, side-on etc etc......could I do this in real life.....no. Looks at his heli on the table that is busted up

Sims are great for praccing moves but when it comes to real life there are more factors that the sim doesn't take into consideration such as the numpty building the heli
