just a quickie,

anyone use a fubata field field nine controller,

are they any good,
got some crimbo money to spend thinking off buying a new controller,

its about time i traded my ff8 in for a new tranny.

I have a nine and went from an FF8 to the 9.

not bad at all feels right like the 8 does. Better way to access the menus
nice trannys. Also has the CCPM mixing options better than the 8 as well.

Oh get the one with the new synth unit from al's hobbies its about 220 pounds and that inc's the 100 pound synth module. any channel going!

Oh also get a better battery for it the 700ma one is crap get a 1700-2000 battery for it.

Having just bought an FF7 what are the advantages of an FF9 over the FF7? Just curious?

Not that I'm thinking of changing as that would equal divorce for me before I've even gotten married

I had the ff9 for a few years was totaly happy with it, Went for the ff9 super as a replacement and its even better

Oh don't bother ..just wait for the Spektrum 9 that eveyone is talking about. & the Spektrum 7 is already out £250, that's all.

No glitch probs, no long aerial, no crystals, no channel allocation problems.......................er, I just bought a FF7 too!!

The spektrum stuff has been out for ages in RC Trucks/Cars so its old news, but good news from that point.

Like you I've just got the FF7 and although I'm in a very good job and earn good money, the constant money drain has been a little testing this year.

The missus has said that even she'd like to come watch me fly the new heli (gift from her) which is nice.

not bought a new controller for a few years had my ff8 a couple of years now and that was even second hand from ebay,

i thought i treat my self for xmas.

Every time I go near a shop, the goal posts have moved again. The "state of the art" stuff I bought last week is now " Phew, you'll never sell that".

on a field force 9 whats the buddy box socket, is it the square type or round type.

can you get the square type to round type adapter from model shops, dont want to loose out of simulator time (reflex).
