  • Zoom 450IC blades (from T-Rex?)

    Hi,

I hope you guys can help...

I recently bought a Zoom 450 IC, but whilst a friend was helping to set it up, it tipped up and managed to break blades and a blade grip.

The blade grip is the same (almost) as the blade grip from teh Zoom 400 which I also have, but hte blades are proving difficult - especially over teh Christmas period...

The blades seem to be 345mm from centre of hole to a point on the end of the blade (using a line parallel to the leading edge).

Are there are any T-Rex 450 blades that will be OK? How are the blades sizes quoted measured?

Id be really grateful for any help. This heli is proving difficult to get spares for.

    Thanks

Trex blades are generally 315/325/335 but I think they are measured from tip to tip rather than from bolt hole to tip

      Hi

Sounds like they might be shorter then

Any ideas if those measurements might be tip to tip along the leading edge, tailing edge or on a diagonal?

How much difference would it make if I used slightly different length blades? I guess different lengths would cause different torque and so affect the tail. Is this correct?

      Thanks
