I know mate! The tail drive on my 450 broke on Saturday, I fitted a new one that night and wanted to run it up in the garden to check everything's ok. Well its been 36 hours now and there hasnt been even a 5 minute break where I can give it a go!

That is where an MSR or the likes come in handy.

My MSR was like a phoenix rising from the ashes as it was in the heli grave yard the other week but after a bit of electronic work it's back to good.

Am back tomorrow, but think the wx for the rest of the week is forecast to be poor too. Might have to resurrect the lama4 for some indoors plopping. The MSR looks a lovely little thing; wonder if I could persuade my wife to get me one for Xmas? As well as the Phoenix SIM, the TT Redline Hi-Flow pipe, new solder iron, 2 new 3S batteries, etc. Oh, and the sock to match the one I got for my birthday.

Holy shit, I just went outside with a tshirt on to the car.....brrr is it cold!

Think I'll have to get a set of thermals for my batteries Wonder if you could use sodium acetate to keep them warm.

Mr Frost is late this year, he usually is out on the South Coast late October/early November.
