  • what a day !!

Well started last night on winter check over for heli's and decided to move the servos out my main machine and put some new ones in the main machine ... great I thought , will get the bearings changed in the engines at the same time ... night flyer engine and electronics all sorted and ready for test flight .. come to main machine and started to put the engine back together after new bearings and bloody slipped and snapped the side of the piston and LHS did not have a new engine to put in so a phone call to fastlads has been made ... Upside is I got my align 610's from Fastlads this morning so can get it set up n e way ....just a little peeved about what I did lmao .....useless bit of info , just thought I would share my day lol....

and this is the first bit of align kit I have ever bought as well ... oh no .....

    unlucky mike..
hate when things like that happen.
don't beat yourself up about it tho, just one of those wee accidents that happen from time to time.
the align electronics are brilliant for what you pay
all electrics in my knight are align.... cept the RX, gyro and tail servo, and i've never had any issues with any of it.

btw i put those rappy paddles on it and agree, it flys brill

sounds like it's up to the task now so maybe that will shut lee up

the paddles i put on were the ultralights (the green ones...except mine are red )
which weigh 19g.still produces the effect you described .. nice fast cyclics and less pitching in FF.

its got 610's on the cyclics, 520 mini servo on throttle (needed for the front tail servo mount mod),9254 and spartan on the tail with a DIY carbon rod instead of the normal wire control rod (it gives a cleaner look without all the guide brackets).

all it needs now is a nice new OS55 as a crissy present and i'll be happy.
