Also I've got this digital calliper which I think is cheap. Everyone should have one I guess if you are into building your own heli!

solderstation looks the good....i've got readout but with me its either low or flat out Ok hold temp very well but that for 9.99 bargin.
So your going to unsolder tail wire's then

I have this exact same soldering stations and IMO it's really good and hasn't let me down.

Very good price for the iron, tempted to get one as a backup to my main iron. Not a bad price on the vernier callipers either.

Phil, the soldering iron I've got right now is some cheap rolson ones. The tip has melted but I still use it though. Thought would be a good idea to replace it.
I've managed to break the tail wire again yesterday. The holder is not holding the tail motor well. More CA I suppose. LOL

My dad left me a ton of soldering kit...wouldn't belive how much solder i own!! 1 box has 20+ 500g reels!! 60/40...shame he stopped sure he would have got reflow center.

Well i've got some 0.191 wire so should be go to rewind 2.9g
