  • Got some new lipo bags

Just thought you might like to see the two new lipo bags that I just bought from Giantcod.

I've been thinking about getting some for a while, now that I have I'm very pleased with them. I can charge the lipo's with a bit less paranoia!

They are plenty big enough and seem really good quality with a really strong Velcro closure.

The best bit is the price just £5.10 each for the big ones!

I intend to store and transport my lipo's in them, I feel a lot safer using these bags than just leaving the things in a tin box! Here are a couple of pics:

I will grab a couple of these as I leave all my lipos/charger and fuel in the boot of my car all week

Bargain! I'd paid twice that for similar sized bags. A point to note however, at least the one's I have, are rated for 6 cells. In the event of an explosion they may not hold up if you're storing multiple lipos in them.

I really must get some of those - thanks for the tip.

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

Good point, however, it's got to be better than nothing!

I've got several lipo's in a tin box (it's the one that is a "car safe" with a small lock on it which I got from Makro for ten quid). I can store about 6 in it with no problem, I'm going to see if it will fit inside the lipo bag tonight, hopefully it will, then at least there is some kind of chance that any problems would be reduced.

I guess the only certain way of being safe (other than giving up lipo's) would be to have individual bags - but I don't have the dosh 'cos I've spent it all on spares....

          Cheers,
          Simon

Absolutely! Just thought it was worth mentioning - Something I hadn't noticed until I found the small print. Definitely worth their weight if the unthinkable were to happen.
